Job Information/Description Position: Corporate Communication Specialist – Global Communications Group

The Corporate Communication Specialist will help strengthen Mitsubishi Heavy Industries’ global brand by supporting communication activities across regions. The role begins with learning the company’s corporate strategy and business features, then assisting senior staff and gradually taking ownership of tasks. Close collaboration with colleagues in Japan and overseas is essential, and business travel within and outside Japan is required. Japanese proficiency is not mandatory at entry, though willingness to learn is preferred.

Based at the Tokyo headquarters, the specialist will work in an English-driven global communication environment. Initial responsibilities include social media content creation, managing owned media and the digital magazine, maintaining the corporate website, and coordinating with overseas group companies on web-related matters. Depending on Japanese ability, domestic communication tasks may also be assigned.

The role values individuals who are sensitive to modern communication trends, active in using AI and digital tools, and able to work as strong team players.

Through on-the-job training, the specialist will develop a broad understanding of MHI’s businesses and contribute to advancing global corporate communications and the internationalization of the company’s culture.
