Job Information/Description Job Title: Global Railway Project Engineer (Entry to Junior level)

1) Key Responsibilities:
Participate in overseas business operations and business development, with a primary focus on Asia.
Tasks include railway-related operations and maintenance, consulting services and engineering, procurement, and construction projects.
Simultaneously, take responsibility for developing new business opportunities.

2) Technical Fields:
This position emphasizes the importance of understanding and gaining experience in the multifaceted aspects of railway projects. It aims to develop professional engineers in these six technical fields, by providing opportunities to engage wide range of job experiences.

(b) Rolling Stock Maintenance
(c) Electric Power
(d) Signaling and Communications
(e) Track Maintenance
(f) Civil Engineering

3) Unique Career Path:
This is a unique career path requiring a long-term commitment with two distinct stages:
【Stage 1】: Operation and Maintenance in Japan:
Gain a deep understanding of JRE's business, technologies, and core values by rotational assignments in technical fields and work stages, including international project assistant.
【Stage 2】: Global Railway Project
Engage in global ralway projects, mainly in the Indo-Pacific region by applying the skills and knowledge developed during Stage 1 and lead JRE global businesses as project manager in the future.

4) Qualifications
-Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field at the time of employment.
Work Location (Country name) Early stage will be in Japan, mainly in Tokyo Metropolitan region (Depending on the specialized field, you may be assinged to diffenrent part of Eastern mainland).
For the next stage, you are expected to assingned to Global project and have possibility to reside abroad from Japan, in Indo-Pacific region.
