(1) Mechanical designer @Mita Factory
-Mechanical design and development of fluid control equipment (mechanical seals and gland packing).
-Formulate ideas from creative ideas and create specifications to realize our clients' request -Quality aspects are resolved by making use of data accumulated through past experience and experiments.
-We develop products by utilising the strengths we have developed in practice with our customers.
(2) Electrical Designer @Fukuchiyama Factory
Design and development of pumps and fittings for semiconductor-facing manufacturing equipment, which has a 90% share of the global market.
Development is carried out by taking customer requirements into account and working closely with customers and the production engineering department.
There are more than 20,000 possible combinations of parts, and the products are creatively produced.
2. Production Engineer
Demonstrate knowledge of mechanics, such as maintenance and servicing of in-house production equipment, to improve production efficiency
3. Sales Engineer
Approach customers based on your expertise as an engineer.
This job involves uncovering needs and incorporating them into product design, etc.
4. International Sales
Propose our products to customers and build win-win relationships.

Company Profile The starting point of Nippon Pillar Packing was the leak-proof 'packing' that prevented problems due to severe labour in the engine room caused by steam leaks in ship engines or due to wear and tear of the packing.
Since its foundation, Nippon Pillar Packing has taken on various challenges with its packing products.
One example is the 'mechanical seal', a leak-stop used in harsh conditions of high temperature and high pressure. Our mechanical seals are used not only in oil refining plants and chemical plants, but also in nuclear power plants, where "absolute" quality is demanded, and are active mainly in the field of manufacturing.
Meanwhile, we have also succeeded in developing fluoropolymer 'Piraflon products'. Fluoropolymer tubing and pumps have attracted attention from the semiconductor industry, where deleterious chemicals and gases are used, as products with excellent chemical resistance.
These Piraflon products are indispensable for semi-conductor and LCD panel manufacturing equipment, supporting society's use of IT.
We started out as a packing and has grown into a 'fluid control equipment manufacturer' that controls gases, liquids and other fluids. Never satisfied with the status quo, we are taking on the challenge of creating new products that have yet to be seen and that will add colour to the future.
Tthe history of Nippon Pillar can be described as a history of challenges. We will continue to take on challenges in new fields and develop a third pillar based on our independently developed sealing technology, without resting on our laurels.
