IMPORTANT MESSAGE
Dear valued ACF invitees,
Thank you very much for your strong interest in working for Japanese companies.
We’re delighted to welcome you at ASEAN CAREER FAIR with JAPAN 2020 on Feb 8th next week.
Here let us deliver the announcement to ask you for your kind understanding and confirmation of your condition as below, under the Wuhan Coronavirus condition, simply because your safety is our priority.
As of January 31st, please be noted that ASEAN CAREER FAIR with JAPAN will run and hold the career fair on February 8th at Singapore Expo as planned, completely following Singaporean Government’s advisory.
In order to maintain you and all the stakeholders’ health, safety and smooth operation at the fair venue, please make sure you’ll read the whole information below and follow them.
1. If either of two below applies you, please understand that we cannot let you enter the career fair venue* sadly.
(1)Flying from any part of mainland China to Singapore to join ASEAN CAREER FAIR with JAPAN
(2)Been to any part of mainland China after January 24th, 2020, no matter where you’re located currently
*Please reply to us with the 6digits of your ACF registration ID if either of them applies you unfortunately, so that we could consider the possibilities to provide alternative ways for you to still access hiring companies after ACF2020.
2. Please carefully read “Advisory on Wuhan Coronavirus" by Singapore Ministry of Health (MOH) especially when you’re flying from outside Singapore and adopt the following precautions at all times.
・ Avoid contact with live animals including poultry and birds, and consumption of raw and undercooked meats.
・ Avoid crowded places and close contact with people who are unwell or showing symptoms of illness.
・ Observe good personal hygiene.
・ Practice frequent hand washing with soap (e.g. before handling food or eating, after going to toilet, or when hands are dirtied by respiratory secretions after coughing or sneezing).
・ Wear a mask if you have respiratory symptoms such as a cough or runny nose.
・ Cover your mouth with a tissue paper when coughing or sneezing, and dispose the soiled tissue paper in the rubbish bin immediately.
・ Seek medical attention promptly if you are feeling unwell.
3. Other advices
・ Please also be advised that we will hold a non-contact thermometer inspection at the entrance of the fair venue.
・ We’ll completely follow any other new instructions, advisories, and orders from Singapore Government and MOH.
・ Complimentary masks will be provided at the fair venue, though it’s recommended you’ll already wear one on the way there.
